I have a strong belief in the resilience of the human spirit. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing therapeutic environment where individuals, couples, and families can increase their ability to meet and overcome challenges in ways that maintain or promote well-being. Some of the modalities that I draw from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Evidenced Based Trauma Interventions and Mindfulness Practices.
I have expertise working with older adults who may be struggling with transitions such as adjusting to retirement, dealing with grief and loss, and coping with illness. I am passionate about helping older adults identify and integrate into their daily lives adaptive coping skills that will help them live healthier, happier, and more independent lives.
